Senior Pastor: Allan R. Bevere
Pastor Allan became the pastor of Ashland First in July 2016, which was a delight since he is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary down the road and has served as an adjunct professor since 1994. Pastor Allan loves his calling saying he never dreads a new day. He enjoys the craft of preparing sermons and facilitating Bible studies. Starting new ministries is one of his passions. He loves reading, writing, gardening, fishing, and hiking with his wife, Carol, and spending time with his grandchildren. You can find him sometimes at Downtown Perk drinking coffee and working on his laptop. If you see him there, stop by for a few minutes. He’s always ready for some conversation.
Coordinator of Volunteer Ministries: Lindsey Funtik
Lindsey Funtik is overjoyed to be serving as the Coordinator of Volunteer Ministries at AFUMC. Throughout the week Lindsey can be found doing anything from setting up schedules for our wonderful volunteers to brainstorming new ideas for ministry. Lindsey’s passion is for seeing the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven and loves to encourage, and be encouraged by, this faith community. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, reading, baking, and going on foodie adventures with her beloved husband, John.
Coordinator of Family and Youth Ministries: Daniel Reaume
Daniel Reaume comes to AFUMC from South-East Michigan where he spent several years serving in youth and children’s ministry. In addition, he has spent many years serving as a worship leader, and has served on the board of various ecumenical ministries in Michigan. Daniel is deeply passionate about Justice, and about seeing young people discipled in the ways of Jesus. In addition to his work at the church, Daniel is studying for his Masters of Divinity at Ashland Theological Seminary.
