The purpose of Feast Night is to serve the nutritional, spiritual, and emotional needs of the community through music, message, and a meal provided by intergenerational and inclusive teams of people.

Feast Nights is held once a month on the last Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. It includes a time of worship with music and a special message as well as the all important meal. The first Feast Night was held Sunday, June 24.

There are three planning groups that help shape Feast Night:
o Meal Planning & Preparation – Faye Wetherbee & Georganne Shreve
o Fundraising & Marketing – Jeff Reep & Suzanne Bandy
o Worship (Music & Message) – Linda Hawk & Jeff Bandy

Each of these teams will continue to meet and we will keep you posted about meeting dates and times. Every single person at Ashland First is invited to participate in the planning and implementation of FEAST NIGHT! We hope this will is a ministry that everyone can help with and participate in so don’t hesitate to attend any of these meetings whenever you are able.

Also, keep in mind that even if you can’t personally attend on Sunday evenings, there is still plenty to do before and after each Feast Night event. Your time and energy is welcome at any time and we also welcome and encourage your financial support. We have already received a few donations towards this ministry and we greatly appreciate it! Your contributions in both time and money are vital in making this dream become a productive and empowering reality!!
