Dan is married to Gigi. They have three children. Dan's educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Malone College ('81), a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary ('85), and a Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Seminary in 2002. He pastored in Cleveland Ohio for eight years and the Warren Ohio area for six. He and his family moved to Ashland in 2000.

Dan's passion is to help individuals embrace spiritual growth in such a way that their faith in Jesus Christ becomes life changing and contagious. He desires to see the local church become a community that welcomes all with the love of Christ, encourages all to grow in intimacy with Christ, and trains and releases people to minister with the mind of Christ.
